The Black Keys

In music the phrase “black keys” usually refers to the sharp and flat keys on a piano. Ironically, the band The Black Keys does not include a piano player at all. In fact, The Black Keys consists of a two-man duo, singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. This blues rock band started in 2002 from Arkon, OH, with their debut album “The Big Come Up.” Five albums later, The Black Keys released “Attack & Release” in 2008. The album was their first album to be produced in a studio. Their 2004 album, “Rubbery Factory,” was recorded in an abandoned warehouse. Check out their single “I Got Mine,” rated number 23 of the list of 100 best songs of 2008 by Rolling Stone.
