Fleet Foxes

Fleet Foxes is an indie folk rock group hailing from Seattle, Washing. While it can be said that they didn't "break through" into the mainstream indie scene until their second EP Sun King (2008), Fleet Foxes got its start at Lake Washington High School, where founding members Robin Pecknold and Skyler Skjelset met and bonded over their mutual love of Bob Dylan. Their first self-titled EP was recorded in 2006, and its success earned them an offer from indie rock label Sub Pop. Their first album, Fleet Foxes, received critical acclaim, topping numerous "Best Album" lists from various sites, including Billboard's Critic's Choice and Metacritic's Album of the Year. Their second album, Helplessness Blues (2011), peaked at number 4 in the US and number 2 in the UK.
