Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, Tantric broke out in 2001 with the single "Breakdown". This success, along with other singles "Mourning" and "Astounded", led the band to tour with Kid Rock and Creed. Despite changes in band membership, Tantric's post-grunge, hard-rock sound has remained with them for the past 7 years, and they have a new album, called "The End Begins", coming out on April 22, 2008.
